After meeting at a band audition in 2019, Jeannine and Dave formed Whiskey Rain Band in January 2020 in Haverhill, MA. The Covid -19 pandemic arrived in March and with no live gigs to perform, the duo began writing music together. 

Whiskey Rain Band put out an EP in 2021, while Dave and Jeannine continue to write, now for artist and sync placement.  They affectionately refer to each other as Bernie and Elton, as Jeannine is the primary lyricist with Dave writing the music. 

Whiskey Rain Band are still a performing band . Dave and Jeannine also perform as an acoustic duo as The Alligator Lizards. 

They have been nominated for a Josie Award for Songwriting Achievement in 2026 for " Selling Jesus" and  "Girl Truck" was a semi-finalist in the 2026 Wide Open Country Song Contest.
